Image via WikipediaThe World that Wasn't -- I'm sure by now that this one is going to be a series. It's the one to which I'm currently devoting all my time and energy. I want to try and have it done by the end of September at the very least. It's a fantasy work that might extend into young adult, though I'm not certain the majority of today's parents wouldn't be turned off by the central theme of human sacrifice (though it doesn't really come up until around the second book, if the outline I've got going now stands the test of time.)

 It's about a girl who is taken into a fantasy world, to put things...very simply. I don't want it to be an entirely "grown up" book, but I'm afraid that it will contain a few themes as the main character grows up that most parents wouldn't approve of in the young adult genre.

Hybrid --    The title to this one isn't set in stone. It's a science fiction novel about body snatching aliens. So far I've only got a random mesh of ideas, but I'm hoping to work on this one once I get done with my World that Wasn't series...or maybe during, depending on how long this novel takes. I'm stepping out of my comfort zone with this one by making the romantic subplot between two males. That, of course, and the buckets of gore that I'm going to have to manage to describe tastefully.
